Two members of the Charlton Upbeats recently met the men's first-team squad at Sparrows Lane.

Manager Dean Holden said: "It was amazing. Danny and Perry came in and watched training, Danny put my boots on and he's managed to take them away with him which is nice.

"We had a penalty shootout at the end and the lads were great with them. We had photographs and a lot of selfies!

"Perry said it was the best day of his life and it shows you the power that we've got. We're lucky enough to be in this game and how you can impact people's lives is brilliant.

"The Upbeats have got a game against Everton on the pitch at The Valley before we play Port Vale so we'll be right behind them."
