Charlton have passed 8,000 season tickets for the 2023/24 season following a sizeable increase in sales in recent weeks.
Saturday’s season-opener, a 1-0 victory over Leyton Orient, saw the highest opening-day crowd at The Valley for eight seasons, with the attendance of 18,513 also the highest recorded Charlton home attendance for more than a year.
The fixture saw a number of additional recent records comfortably passed - Saturday’s fixture recorded the highest CharltonTV match pass streaming sales for a home Saturday game for over a year and the highest matchday programme sales since before the Covid pandemic.
More than 6,000 match tickets were sold for Saturday’s game and the club are offering anyone who purchased one the opportunity to play their part this campaign and convert to a season ticket with the price of their Leyton Orient ticket deducted.
In other words, if your ticket for Saturday cost £24 then you could buy a £310 season ticket for £286! Over the course of the remaining 22 league matches, that £286 cost will equate to just £13 per game - a saving of £242!
