Nathan Jones is excited to get back to The Valley on Saturday as his side take on Blackburn Rovers (KO 3pm BST).
The Addicks come into the contest on the back of a fantastic three points against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane last time out.
"It just shows the strength and depth," explained Jones. "[Reece] Burke and James [James] Bree's performances and levels are something I'm very used to, because I’ve seen it for seasons at previous places.
"Blackburn have had a decent start with an experienced manager, narrowly missing out on the play-offs last year following a good second half to the season. They've started quite well this time out and it’s another tough game, and one where we have to concentrate on us.
"We love playing back at The Valley. The crowd is fantastic and so is the atmosphere. Matchdays are real occasions now and something we always look forward to."
The gaffer provided a positive team news update ahead of the weekend.
“Luke [Berry] is back in full training," Jones confirmed. "Matty [Godden] is still a slow process at the minute and Will Mannion is back on the grass. We're in a significantly better position than we were a week ago. Kayne [Ramsay] returns as well [following his suspension]."
