Charlie Kelman’s spectacular strike against Hull City has won the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for April.
Kelman ran on to Conor Coady's ball forward and beat his defender, before cutting inside and sending a wonderful curling shot into the top-right corner.
The striker beat off competition from Frank Onyeka (Coventry City), Kasey McAteer (Ipswich Town) and Will Lankshear (Oxford United) to scoop the prize, with votes from EFL supporters combined with the choices of a panel to determine the winner.
Kelman said: "I'm buzzing and I'm thankful to everyone who voted for me to win this award. It's probably my favourite goal of my career so far given how the atmosphere was with The Valley rocking and the pressure on the game for both teams."
Lead Sky Bet EFL Goal of the Month judge and Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman said: "Safe to say Charlie Kelman had a lot to do after a lung-busting run into the left channel and being surrounded by defenders! He somehow, though, managed to manipulate some space and curled an absolute beauty into the far top corner."
