With 2025/26 in the rear-view mirror, all eyes are looking ahead to Charlton Athletic Women's maiden voyage in the 2026/27 Barclays Women’s Super League.

When does pre-season start?

When is the fixture list out?
The fixtures for the 2026/27 BWSL will be confirmed due course.
When is the WSL scheduled to start?
The Barclays Women's Super League is set to start on the weekend of September 4-6. The league is set to culminate on Saturday, May 22nd.
When do the cup competitions start?
The Adobe Women’s FA Cup kicks off for us in the Fourth Round on Sunday, January 17th, 2027.
Transfer Window
The transfer window for the WSL opens on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 and closes at 11pm BST on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
International and winter breaks
The first international break of the season is from Monday, October 5th, to Tuesday, October 13th, with a second break from Tuesday, December 1st, to Saturday, December 5th.
The league will then pause for a winter break on Monday, December 21st and resume on Sunday, January 3rd.
The third international break of the season is from Wednesday, February 24th, until Saturday, March 6th, with a fourth break from Tuesday, April 13th, to Saturday, April 24th.
The fifth and final international break follows the culmination of the season, running from Monday, June 7th, 2027, onwards as the FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off on Thursday, June 24th until Sunday, July 25th.

The 2026/27 home shirt will be unveiled on Thursday, July 2nd, on the club's website and social media channels.
