Carl Leaburn and Mickey Bennett are the next names confirmed for for the 'Lennie Lawrence Dinner', hosted by the Charlton Athletic Ex-Players' Association at The Valley on Sunday, April 26th.
The duo will be in attendance as the club celebrates their legendary former boss and will be joined by the previously announced Peter Shirtliff, Steve Gritt, Colin Walsh, Jim Melrose and Mark Reid with more special guests to be announced in due course.
Both Leaburn and Bennett were handed their professional debuts in the top flight by Lawrence after emerging through the club’s youth setup.
Leaburn made his Addicks bow in March 1987 at the age of 17 during the inaugural play-off winning season and went on to play 376 games for the club, scoring 66 goals over an 11-year period.
He was also named as the club's Young Player of the Year, as well as Player of the Year in 1994.
Bennett’s debut came in a Full Members Cup clash with Birmingham City in November 1986, helping Charlton on their way to the final at Wembley under Lawrence that season, before going on to make a total of 72 appearances for the club, scoring three goals across two spells between 1986-1990 and 1994-95, winning the club's Young Player of the Year award in 1987.
Guests will enjoy a two-course dinner and a live Charlton-themed auction during what promises to be a truly memorable evening, which will feature a special tribute in honour of Lawrence, who successfully managed the Addicks between 1982 and 1991.
