The Addicks are back on the road this weekend, travelling to St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park to take on Birmingham City in the Sky Bet Championship (KO 3pm GMT).

Nathan Jones' head to the West Midlands on the back of a narrow defeat against second-placed Middlesbrough at The Valley in midweek.

TEAM NEWS

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jones gave an injury update: "It’s not days, it's weeks for Onel [Hernández]. With the volume of injuries we've had, people are trickling back. In the coming weeks, we'll be in a much stronger position and we look forward to that."

The hosts are expected to be without Ethan Laird (hamstring), Lee Buchanan (knee) and Scott Wright (knee), though Alex Cochrane and Willum Willumsson could both return.

THE OPPOSITION 

The Blues currently sit 11th in the Sky Bet Championship table, three points outside of the play-off places.

Chris Davies’ side suffered a late 2-1 defeat away to Queens Park Rangers last time out.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Birmingham have gone toe-to-toe on 68 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 24, the Blues winning 23 and the remaining 21 fixtures ending in draws.

Birmingham ran out 1-0 victors at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park when the sides last met in February thanks to Jay Stansfield's first-half goal.

MATCH OFFICIALS 

Andrew Kitchen will take charge of proceedings this weekend.

Kitchen will be assisted by Shaun Hudson and Steven Meredith, while Ed Duckworth has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

COLOURS 

The Addicks will be wearing their red Reebok home kit in the West Midlands.
