TEAM NEWS

Terry Taylor (ankle) and Conor McGrandles (calf) both gained valuable minutes for the U21s in midweek, while Panutche Camará (hamstring) has returned to training.

Michael Hector (hamstring) Chuks Aneke (hamstring) and Miles Leaburn (hamstring) remain sidelined as they continue their respective recoveries.

Tayo Edun will serve his one-match suspension having been shown two yellow cards in midweek.

Goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw (arm) could return for the hosts on Saturday, though Jake Beesley (ankle) and Kylian Kouassi (hamstring) are both set to miss out.

THE OPPOSITION

Blackpool currently sit eighth in the Sky Bet League One table, four points off the play-off places.

Neil Critchley's side, who boast the best home record in the division, claimed a 2-1 triumph at Bristol Rovers last weekend to make it three league wins on the spin.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Blackpool have locked horns on 67 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 19, the Seasiders 31 and the remaining 17 meetings resulting in draws.

In the reverse fixture at The Valley, Charlton fought back from two goals down to claim a 2-2 draw thanks to late goals from Alfie May and Corey Blackett-Taylor.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Darren Drysdale will control proceedings this weekend. The official has refereed 21 matches so far this season, brandishing 79 yellow cards and two red cards.
