Lucas Ness (knee) is available for selection following a minor knock, though Harry Isted (knee), Conor McGrandles (calf), Terry Taylor (ankle), Panutche Camará (hamstring), Chuks Aneke (hamstring) and Miles Leaburn (hamstring) are all unavailable.

Meanwhile, the hosts are expected to be without Jordan Rossiter (knee) and Luke McCormick (ankle).

THE OPPOSITION

Bristol Rovers currently sit 10th in the Sky Bet League One table, two places and two points above the Addicks.

Matt Taylor's side will come into Friday's contest full of confidence having claimed a 2-1 triumph at home to league leaders Portsmouth on Boxing Day, with Luke Thomas bagging a 94th-minute winner.

Charlton and Bristol Rovers have clashed on 69 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 25, the Pirates 25 and the remaining 19 encounters producing draws.

Bristol Rovers won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in August thanks to McCormick's 98th-minute strike.

Neil Hair will control proceedings on Friday. The referee has overseen 14 games this season - including the Addicks' 4-2 win against Aston Villa's U21s - and has shown 48 yellow cards and four red cards.
