MATCH PREVIEW | Charlton v Crystal Palace

Charlton v Crystal Palace

Karen Hills' side will be looking to stretch their winning streak to six in a row as they gear up to host Crystal Palace in the third and final Continental Cup Group stage game.

The Addicks currently sit third in Group D recording three points from their last two fixtures, the winners of Group D will progress into the Quarter- Final stages and face the winner of Group B (Manchester City, Leicester City or Liverpool). Lewes currently sit top with six points recorded in total.

The original date for this fixture was postponed due to being in mid-December but was postponed due to weather conditions.

The Eagles will arrive at The Oakwood off the back of an impressive 5-1 victory over Watford which saw them cruise into Round 4 of the Vitality Women's FA Cup.

Dean Davenport's side currently sit at the foot of the group having previously lost 4-0 to Bristol City in their opening game of the Continental Cup in October.

Palace were then on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline in their second group fixture against Lewes in November.

The two south London sides locked horns in a league meeting at Selhurst Park in November. Goals from Melissa Johnson and Emily Simpkins secured all three points for the Addicks in a 2-1 victory.
