The Addicks head to Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night for their third away game in a week (KO 7.45pm GMT).

TEAM NEWS

Lloyd Jones is available again for the Addicks having served a two-game suspension, though Kayne Ramsay (hamstring) and Miles Leaburn (hamstring) remain sidelined.

Commenting on Chuks Aneke's absence from Saturday's squad, Nathan Jones said: “He felt his calf was stiff after Tuesday night [at Derby]. There was no point risking him because we want him ready for Tuesday [at Cheltenham].”

The hosts will make a late call on Lewis Freestone, who missed out with a niggle last weekend, but Robert Street (knee) is a long-term absentee.

THE OPPOSITION

Cheltenham currently sit 21st in the Sky Bet League One standings and come into Tuesday's meeting on the back of a goalless draw with Burton Albion at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium on Saturday.

That was preceded by a 2-0 reverse at Wycombe Wanderers, who scored twice in the final four minutes of normal time.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Cheltenham have clashed on six previous occasions with the Addicks winning one, the Robins three and the remaining two games resulting in draws.

Alfie May bagged a brace in the reverse fixture in November 2023 when Charlton came from behind to earn a 2-1 triumph.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Scott Jackson will be the man in the middle on Tuesday. The official has refereed 22 matches so far this season, showing 93 yellow cards and one red card.

Jackson will be assisted by Steven Plane and Richard Morris, while Kevin Howick has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

COLOURS

The Addicks will be donning their black away kit in Gloucestershire.
