Charlton Women will face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, March 29th (KO 2pm) in the WSL2.
There are only three games left in the WSL2, and with matches against Southampton and Birmingham to come. After this test against Palace, though, there is the matter of the Adobe FA Cup quarterfinal against Liverpool to come, on Easter Sunday.
Charlton Athletic
The Addicks lost last time out against Bristol City, away at Ashton Gate. Despite going down 2-0, Charlton fought to get back into the game, with Gillian Kenney scoring a lovely goal for her fourth in the league this season.
Ahead of the game against Palace, Karen Hills said: "The prep stays the same, the players need, now, time to rest and recover, which they will do over this week. We’ll have a game plan ready for Palace.
"Palace, again, are another fantastic team, a team that’s going to give us different challenges, definitely to what Bristol did today."
Hills has a full squad to choose from with no new injury worries. Carla Humphrey is working her way back to match fitness after having a baby, joining in with the technical drills in training this week.
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace sit third in the table, in the WSL2 Play-Off spot. They have not lost in their last four games in the league, ending a three-game win streak with a 0-0 draw against Newcastle in their last game.
This will be Crystal Palace Women's first time back at Selhurst Park since 2024.
Head-to-Head
The Addicks and Crystal Palace met in the first game of the season, with Charlton coming out 1-0 winners, thanks to a goal from Emma Bissell.
Charlton have three wins in the last five games against Palace, with one loss and one draw.
