TEAM NEWS

Chem Campbell signed for the Addicks on Wednesday on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers and has trained with his new teammates this week, so is likely to be available for selection on Saturday.

Dean Holden hinted last week that Panutche Camará (foot) could be in line for a return after missing Saturday's game against Port Vale. Richard Chin (groin), Scott Fraser (calf), Tyreece Campbell (ankle), Chuks Aneke (calf) and Miles Leaburn (ankle) are all likely to miss out.

Oxford United completed the signing of Greg Leigh from Ipswich Town on Thursday and the left-back could feature against the Addicks.

Marcus Browne picked up a hamstring injury in Oxford's win at the weekend and has been ruled out for several months. Jordan Thorniley (ankle) remains sidelined.

THE OPPOSITION

After a difficult campaign last year and a surprise loss to Cambridge United on the opening day, Liam Manning's side have won three in a row in the league.

A 1-0 home win over Carlisle United was followed by impressive away victories at Derby County and Barnsley.

The last meeting between the two sides came at the Kassam Stadium in December 2022 and saw the hosts run out 3-1 victors.
