Harry Isted (knee), Terry Taylor (ankle), Panutche Camará (hamstring) and Chuks Aneke (hamstring) are all sidelined for the Addicks.
Regan Poole (knee) is unlikely to figure for the hosts having been forced off in last weekend's Emirates FA Cup reverse at Chesterfield, though Marlon Pack (ankle) is in contention having returned to training.
Pompey will also be without Tino Anjorin (hamstring), Tom Lowery (knee) and Anthony Scully (knee).
Portsmouth currently sit three points clear at the top of League One and are yet to taste defeat in the league so far this season. That unbeaten run began on March 14th, 2023 and now stands at a club-record 26 league games.
John Mousinho’s men also boast the best defensive record in the division having conceded just 10 times.
10-man Pompey progressed to the knockout stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in midweek with a 2-1 triumph at Leyton Orient, while the Blues came from two goals down to win 3-2 at Reading in their last league outing.
Charlton and Portsmouth have gone toe-to-toe on 112 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 40, Pompey 44 and the remaining 28 matches producing draws.
The last meeting between the two sides came at Fratton Park on New Year’s Day, when Charlton claimed a 3-1 success thanks to strikes from Jes Rak-Sakyi and Scott Fraser and an Owen Dale own goal.
Sam Allison will be the man in the middle this weekend. The official last refereed a Charlton fixture in April 2023 - a 1-0 win at MK Dons.
Allison will be assisted by Richard Wild and Carl Fitch-Jackson, while Neil Hair is the Fourth Official.
The Addicks will be donning their black away kit on the south coast.
Tickets for this weekend's clash have now sold out, with 2,153 Addicks set to make the trip to Portsmouth.
Supporters collecting tickets are encouraged to arrive at the ground as early as possible to avoid queues. Pompey's Ticket Office can be found in Anson Road, which is located behind Fratton Park's North Stand.
Saturday's fixture falls on Armistice Day and both captains and a serving member of the military will lay a poppy wreath on the pitch ahead of kick-off. The Last Post will then be played and a period of silence will be observed by all those inside Fratton Park.
