TEAM NEWS

Harry Isted (knee), Terry Taylor (ankle), Panutche Camará (hamstring) and Chuks Aneke (hamstring) are all sidelined for the Addicks.

Pompey will also be without Tino Anjorin (hamstring), Tom Lowery (knee) and Anthony Scully (knee).

THE OPPOSITION

Portsmouth currently sit three points clear at the top of League One and are yet to taste defeat in the league so far this season. That unbeaten run began on March 14th, 2023 and now stands at a club-record 26 league games.

John Mousinho’s men also boast the best defensive record in the division having conceded just 10 times.

10-man Pompey progressed to the knockout stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy in midweek with a 2-1 triumph at Leyton Orient, while the Blues came from two goals down to win 3-2 at Reading in their last league outing.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Portsmouth have gone toe-to-toe on 112 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 40, Pompey 44 and the remaining 28 matches producing draws.

The last meeting between the two sides came at Fratton Park on New Year’s Day, when Charlton claimed a 3-1 success thanks to strikes from Jes Rak-Sakyi and Scott Fraser and an Owen Dale own goal.
