MATCH PREVIEW | Wycombe Wanderers v Charlton

'

Charlton return to Sky Bet League One action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park (3pm KO BST).

Ben Garner’s Addicks travel to Buckinghamshire on the back of a 1-0 Carabao Cup triumph at Walsall in midweek, stretching their unbeaten run to three matches across all competitions.

Supporters collecting tickets are advised to arrive as early as possible to ease pre-match queuing. Away ticket collections will be available from 12.30pm.

TEAM NEWS

The Addicks will check on the fitness of Conor McGrandles (hand) and Corey Blackett-Taylor (knee), though this weekend’s fixture is expected to come too soon for Mandela Egbo (knee) and Chuks Aneke (calf).

Meanwhile, the hosts have a number of injury concerns with Ryan Tafazolli, Curtis Thompson, Sullay Kaikai, Sam Vokes and Brandon Hanlan all absent in recent weeks.

THE OPPOSITION

Wycombe bowed out of the Carabao Cup in midweek after falling to a 3-1 defeat against Championship side Bristol City, while the Chairboys’ last league outing yielded an impressive 3-0 triumph at Barnsley.

That results means Gareth Ainsworth’s side currently sit 13th in the Sky Bet League One table with two wins and three defeats to their name this term.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Wycombe have squared off on nine previous occasions, with the Addicks winning six and the Chairboys three.

The last meeting between the two sides came at The Valley on New Year’s Day, when Sam Vokes’ strike earned the visitors a 1-0 triumph.
