Kayne Ramsay says there is a real excitement amongst the squad ahead of Saturday's trip to Hull City.
The Addicks head to the MKM Stadium on the back of a brilliant 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Portman Road in midweek.
"Everyone's just excited," said the defender. "It was probably one of the best results I've had in my career, against a big club that's just been relegated from the Premier League. They're a really good side as you could see in the first half. We had a good opportunity with Macca [Macaulay Gillesphey], but in the game I remember saying on corners, 'just stay in this game and we'll get our chance.'
"Our away fans have been brilliant all season and I heard them singing, 'Oh Sonny Carey!' [on Tuesday night] and it's been in my head since!
"I think we've got a really good side and I think we made brilliant signings. We've got a really good chance of doing well, we've just got to stay consistent. It's been a good challenge. For myself, I think I started well and then I obviously got the red card against Millwall. There's up and downs in football and I understand that, so I've got to bounce back from that and carry on doing what I do.
"It's a great club and I love this club," he added. "We've got a brilliant manager and we've got a structure and a way of playing that everyone buys in to. Whether you're in the team or not in the team, everyone knows their roles and everyone's ready whenever called up."
Asked what test the in-form Tigers will pose, Ramsay said: "They got a good result against Leicester and I've watched the highlights. They look like a good side and they're a team that's been established in the Championship for a while now. I think every game's a big game and there's not a game that will be easy or is easy in the Championship, so we've just got to be on it and be ready.
