Supporter Forum set for October 16th

'

The club’s bi-annual Supporter Forum will take place on Thursday, October 16th.

A key part of the club’s Fan Engagement Framework, the Supporter Forum gives all recognised fan groups the opportunity to send a representative to meet with the club’s operational and business management staff at The Valley.

The meetings are organised and chaired by the club's Fan Advocates, Lucy Bishop and Lewis Catt, providing supporters with a platform to share feedback and suggest improvements.

At the upcoming Forum, the club will share its learnings and improvements from the food and beverage provision, the recent fixture with Millwall and Valley Express.

Charlton’s Chief Financial and Operations Officer Ed Warrick said: "The Supporter Forum gives our fans the opportunity to feed back on a range of topics, including matchday operations, face-to-face with our Senior Management Team. Making supporter voices heard is a central tenet of our vision to be the most cohesive and sustainable community-driven club operating at an elite level. We take your feedback very seriously, and are committed to learning and driving improvement.

"We're conducting a thorough review of our recent Millwall fixture, and I'm looking forward to discussing this with our supporters in person at the Forum. The outcomes and lessons learned will be included in the post-meeting notes, which we will publish on our website very shortly afterwards.

"We'll also be covering topics including catering arrangements, the ongoing improvement works at The Valley including the new P-rails in the Alan Curbishley Stand, our new floodlights, and our soon-to-be-installed state-of-the-art LED boards and big screen. We're committed to placing our supporters at the heart of everything we do, and our Supporter Forum is a really important part of how we engage with our fans and shows our commitment to getting things right operationally. Your feedback shapes our decisions.”
