Supporter groups select award winners


Ashley Maynard-Brewer has been named Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters Association's Player of the Year for the 2022/23 season.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who made 29 appearances for the Addicks during an impressive breakthrough campaign, collected his award at the club's recent end-of-season awards dinner.


Miles Leaburn was voted Proud Valiants' men's Player of the Season following an incredible debut season in senior football. The 19-year-old bagged 13 goals and registered three assists across all competitions. Jes Rak-Sakyi was the runner-up, with captain George Dobson finishing third.

Meanwhile, Beth Roe was named Proud Valiants' women's Player of the Season, adding to her Women's Player of the Year and Women's Players' Player of the Year accolades. Melissa Johnson came second and Angela Addison was third.
