Charlton’s U18s kicked off 2024 in style with a 4-0 win against QPR on Saturday.

Kai Enslin got the young Addicks off to the perfect start at Sparrows Lane, sending a pinpoint, left-footed effort into the bottom-right corner from 20 yards after just nine minutes.

Ibrahim Fullah doubled Charlton’s advantage on the half-hour mark with a goal of the season contender. After receiving the ball from Enslin on the left flank, the 16-year-old cut inside and curled an unbelievable finish into the top-right corner.

Jason Pearce’s side had a third on 72 minutes when R’s defender Samuel Manufor could only turn substitute Emmanuel Sol-Loza’s dangerous cross into his own net.

Sol-Loza added a goal of his own five minutes from time, converting Reuben Reid’s cross from close range.
