KENT SENIOR CUP PREVIEW | Margate vs Charlton

George Jones reports

Charlton’s U23s face their second match in just three days when they head to Margate in the quarter-final of the Kent Senior Cup on Wednesday evening (7.45pm).

Jason Euell’s Addicks earned a point against Millwall in Professional Development League 2 South on Monday afternoon and, tonight, they’ll be looking to book their place in the last four of the regional competition.

Charlton, winners of the Kent Senior Cup in two of the last four seasons, beat Phoenix Sports 4-1 to set-up tonight’s tie at Hartsdown Park while Margate earned a thumping, 6-1 victory against Greenwich Borough.

Margate - who’s assistant Manager is former Addick Steve Brown - fell to defeat against St Albans on Saturday in the National League South.

Ticket for tonight’s match are priced at adults £12, concession £10, 11-17 £5 and U11s £1.
