Charlton Manager Karl Robinson praised travelling supporters following the club’s 2-0 away win against Rotherham United yesterday.
520 fans Charlton fans travelled to Rotherham for the game – the distance between the two stadiums is more than 180 miles.
When asked about the contribution of the fans Robinson said: “They were excellent but they always are.
“That’s one of the things that I’m so proud of being the manager of this football club is the travelling support that we get and the inclusive nature of all of our fans at The Valley.
"I just hope they are proud of their team. I know I keep saying it but I hope they are proud. That’s all we can do.”
