Charlton supporters advised to arrive in plenty of time ahead of Blackburn match

Charlton supporters are advised to arrive at The Valley in plenty of time ahead of Saturday’s match against Blackburn Rovers (3pm).

The game could see the biggest attendance of the season in SE7 and all supporters – especially those purchasing tickets on the day of the game – are being asked to arrive early in order to reducing queueing times at the ticket office and turnstiles.

What does ‘restricted sale’ mean?

Restricted sale means that tickets are only on sale to Charlton supporters who have a purchase history with the club’s ticket office and are registered on the club’s database. Tickets have been placed on sale to prevent Blackburn Rovers supporters from buying tickets in the home end.

Why should I arrive earlier than normal for Saturday’s game against Blackburn?

The biggest Valley crowd of the season is expected on Saturday. Therefore, we would ask all Charlton supporters to arrive early in order to minimise the queues at the turnstiles and the ticket office in the run up to kick-off. 

I want to buy tickets for Saturday’s game before I arrive at The Valley. Where can I buy them?

The Valley’s ticket office will be open until 5pm on Friday and from 10am on Saturday morning. The Valley’s phonelines will also be open until 5pm on Friday and from 10am on Saturday. 

Tickets can be purchased by phone and online up until 1pm on Saturday. They will be on sale in person from The Valley right up until kick-off on Saturday.  

How do I know if I am on the ticket office’s database?

All supporters who have purchased tickets in advance for a Charlton match in the last three years will be registered on the club’s database. 

Fans can also contact the ticket office by visiting The Valley in person or by calling 03330 14 44 44 to find out if they are on the database. 

I have a purchase history with Charlton but cannot seem to buy online. What should I do? 

The club are aware that some supporters are having difficulty trying to purchase tickets

for the Blackburn match online. 

We would ask those affected to follow our ‘how to buy online for Blackburn’ guides, which cater for both desktop and mobiles. 

If fans are still unable to buy online, we would ask them to contact the ticket office by visiting The Valley in person or by calling 03330 14 44 44. 

I want to buy tickets from The Valley on Saturday. Where should I go to buy them?

Charlton fans buying on the day from The Valley are advised to arrive early in order to minimise the queues in the lead up to kick-off. 

Tickets will be on sale from the West and North Stand ticket offices. The West Stand ticket office will be open from 10am and the North Stand ticket office from 1pm. Tickets can be purchased from both ticket offices using either cash or electronic payments. 

I am collecting my match tickets from The Valley tomorrow. Where can I pick them up?

All match tickets can be collected from the North Stand ticket office, which will be open from 1pm. We would also advise fans collecting their match tickets to arrive in plenty of time to minimise queues. 

I am a Blackburn fan. Can I buy tickets for Saturday’s game?

No. The away end has sold out and match tickets will not be on sale to Blackburn fans on Saturday. Rovers will be putting on a beam-back at Ewood Park and Blackburn fans should contact them to arrange tickets for this. 

I want to return my completed season ticket renewal form on Saturday. Where should I take it?

Supporters renewing for 2018/19 will be able to return their completed season ticket forms to The Valley on Saturday. 

Fans can return them to a number of locations, which are: the North Stand ticket office, the West Stand ticket office, the mobile ticketing unit in the West Stand car park and main reception. 

Completed forms can be returned before kick-off and after full-time.

I want to pay for my 2018/19 season ticket on Saturday. Where can I do it?

Charlton supporters can buy their season tickets for 2018/19 at The Valley before and after kick-off on Saturday. 

They will be available to purchase up until 1.30pm from the West Stand ticket office. After this time, only Blackburn match tickets will be on sale. 

After full-time, 2018/19 season tickets can again be purchased from the West Stand ticket office. Tickets for the Addicks’ final match of the season away at Rochdale will also be available to buy after the match.
