From the treatment room: Updates on Fosu, Reeves, Clarke and Forster-Caskey

Head of Medical Services Alastair Thrush provides the latest on Charlton's injuries, ahead of Saturday's game against Southend United.

Tariqe Fosu (hamstring) and Ben Reeves (Achilles tendon tear) returned to full training last week and both have a chance of being involved in the squad for tomorrow’s game against Southend United after returning from their injuries.

Billy Clarke (ACL rupture) is continuing to progress outside with his running conditioning drills and ballwork and we are hoping to target a return to training with the squad in October.

Jake Forster-Caskey (ACL rupture) is currently in a knee brace to allow the medial ligament of the knee to heal before proceeding to operative repair to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament. This is scheduled in another three weeks after which time he will start his rehabilitation. Jake will miss the entire season as a result of his knee injury.
