Ben Amos returned to Charlton yesterday and will start today’s pre-season friendly against Ebbsfleet United.

The Addicks are expected to lineup in the 3-2-diamond-1 formation deployed in Charlton’s win against Gillingham at the end of last season.
With Amos starting in goal, Anfernee Dijksteel, Darren Pratley and Ben Purrington are expected to start in front of him with Chris Solly and Alfie Doughty filling the wing back roles.
Jake Forster-Caskey, George Lapslie, Albie Morgan and Chuks Aneke are expected to play in a midfield diamond behind Lyle Taylor.
Much of the Addicks starting lineup are expected to play 60 minutes with Dillon Phillips, Tom Lockyer, Jason Pearce, Naby Sarr and Macauley Bonne amongst the substitutes bench.
There is also a place on the bench for former Addick Callum Harriott who is training with the club.
