Dillon Phillips will start the game in goal behind an expected back three of Tom Lockyer, Deji Oshilaja and Naby Sarr. Solly, wearing the captain's armband, and Ben Purrington will likely act as wing backs with Darren Pratley and Jake Forster-Caskey in midfield. Jonny Williams starts the game and will likely operate behind Chuks Aneke and Lyle Taylor, although with their versatility, Williams may drop back into midfield and Aneke to the number 10 role if Bowyer decides to play Taylor as the lone striker.

The Addicks bench is made up of Ben Amos, Anfernee Dijksteel, Jason Pearce, Callum Harriott, Macauley Bonne, Albie Morgan, George Lapslie, Alfie Doughty and Brendan Wiredu.
