Jonny Williams and Chuks Aneke move to the bench, Ian Maatsen is suspended and Paul Smyth misses out following the injury he sustained on Saturday’s game.

There is a return to the bench for Akin Famewo after a spell on the sidelines following an injury picked up against Portsmouth.

If the Addicks lineup in the same 4-diamond-2 played at Ipswich, Adam Matthews, Chris Gunter, skipper Darren Pratley and Purrington will make up the back four in front of Ben Amos. Ben Watson, Andrew Shinnie, Albie Morgan and Gilbey will likely operate in a midfield diamond behind Bogle and Washington.

Famewo, Williams and Aneke are joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Jason Pearce, Marcus Maddison and Aaron Henry.

Charlton: Amos; Matthews, Gunter, Pratley (C), Purrington; Watson, Shinnie, Morgan, Gilbey; Bogle, Washington
