Charlton supporters worldwide will be able to tune into live audio commentary of Saturday’s opening-day Sky Bet League One clash against Sheffield Wednesday (17:30 KO BST).
The game has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports in their early-evening time slot, meaning the club are NOT permitted to live stream the match in the UK, Ireland or any country where the EFL’s global TV deal is present, owing to EFL broadcast rules.
Supporters can, however, purchase an audio pass for just £4, which they can marry up with Sky Sports’ coverage, to enjoy live commentary from CharltonTV stalwarts Terry Smith and Greg Stubley, who will be accompanied in the gantry by former Addick Steve Brown.
