Six senior Addicks selected for international duty
Charlton are delighted to confirm that Kayleigh Green, Mia Ross, Kiera Skeels, Freya Godfrey, Rebecca McKenna and Melissa Johnson have all earned international call-ups.
Forward Kayleigh Green will be away with the Welsh senior squad. Wales take on Germany on Friday, October 27th and Denmark on Tuesday, October 31st in the UEFA Women's Nations League.
Co-Captain Kiera Skeels and Mia Ross have both been named in Emma Cotes' U23 Young Lionesses squad which will travel to play Italy on Thursday, October 26th and host Portugal on Monday, October 30th at the Academy Stadium in Manchester.
Freya Godfrey will also be in action for the U19 Young Lionesses in their first UEFA Euro Qualifying games taking on Greece on Tuesday, October 24th, Wales on Friday, October 27th and then Czechia on Monday, October 30th.
Full-back Rebecca McKenna will be in action on Friday, October 27th against Hungary, and then hosting Hungary in Northern Ireland on Tuesday, October 31st.
2022/23 Golden Boot Winner Melissa Johnson has been selected to play for Jamaica taking on Panama on Thursday, October 26th in the Gold Cup Qualification as well as facing Guatemala on Sunday, October 29th.
One player from our PGA have also been called up for international duty. Ornela Brahaj has been selected for Albania U19s.
