Elisha N’Dow extended her stay with the Addicks into a fourth season after signing a new one-year contract in July.
The aerially dominant and tough-tackling centre-back, who initially joined on loan from Aston Villa ahead of the 2022/23 campaign before signing a permanent contract the following summer, has been a regular at centre-back for Karen Hills’ side and has become a senior member of the squad over the previous three seasons.
An ever-present in a side that had the third-best defensive record in the Women’s Championship and kept seven clean sheets, the 28-year-old also scored in the 2-0 win away at Blackburn Rovers in September as the Addicks finished third.
A Villa academy graduate, N’Dow made over 150 appearances for her childhood club across eight years, captaining them to the 2019/20 Women’s Championship title and helping them maintain their Women’s Super League status on the final day of the following season.
Having been involved in three Charlton sides that have pushed for promotion over the previous three seasons but fallen short, N’Dow will be hoping her defensive qualities and experience can help this group of Addicks challenge at the top of WSL2.
