Midfielder Katie Bradley enjoyed an excellent debut season in SE7, scoring eight times in 24 appearances across all competitions.
Having joined the Addicks last summer on a two-year deal following her departure from Blackburn Rovers, her contributions helped to keep Karen Hills’ side in the race for promotion until the penultimate month of the campaign.
The 23-year-old made an immediate impression, scoring twice from the bench in the final eight minutes to overturn a 1-0 deficit in the game against Durham at The Valley in September, while her second goal in the 3-3 draw away at Newcastle United in October earned the Addicks a dramatic point in the fifth minute of stoppage-time.
Her move to The Valley followed a short stint at Ewood Park, which marked her return to English football having spent the previous three years playing in the USA college system for UFC Knights.
Prior to moving to the USA, she graduated from Manchester City’s academy, for whom she won the Women’s FA Youth Cup in 2018.
She also has youth international experience, having represented England at the Women’s U19 European Championship.
After a successful first season with the Addicks, Bradley will be a figure that boss Hills will look to build her new look team around.
