Tommy Reid joined the Addicks' academy ranks in September 2024 following a successful trial period.

During his trial, Reid kept three clean sheets in five appearances for Chris Lock’s U21s as they kickstarted their 2024/25 season with an impressive unbeaten run.

The Hastings-born stopper, who has been capped by England at youth level, spent 11 years at Brighton & Hove Albion after joining the Seagulls aged eight.

He gained valuable first-team experience during his time on the south coast during non-League loan spells with Burgess Hill Town, Worthing and AFC Totton.

In January 2025, the goalkeeper signed a new contract until 2026.

Reid joined National League side Sutton United on loan in October 2025.

The goalkeeper was recalled from his Sutton spell in December 2025 before joining National League South side Farnborough on loan in January 2026.
