Kiera Skeels joined Charlton in the summer of 2021 from Reading and signed a contract extension with the club in July 2023.

The centre-back made her way up through the academy at the Berkshire club, captaining the academy team before being called up to the first team in the 2019/20 campaign. She made her senior debut that year, appearing twice in the League Cup.

Skeels spent 2020/21 at Bristol City on loan, helping the team to the League Cup final by scoring her first senior goal in the semi-final in a 1-0 win against Leicester City. Skeels has represented the England Lionesses at various youth levels, receiving multiple call-ups to the U23 squad last season.
