Charlton's U21s kicked off their 2025/26 campaign with a five-star display against Sheffield Wednesday at Sparrows Lane on Tuesday afternoon.
The opener came late on in the first half, when Ethan Brown latched on to a long ball and slotted in with a composed finish.
Micah Mbick was next to net for the young Addicks, doubling his side's advantage ahead of the hour mark.
Just moments later Chris Lock's side added a third through Kai Enslin, who featured for the men's first-team later that day, netting in the 59th minute.
Patrick Casey entered the fray shortly after and made an instant impact as he added a fourth with 16 minutes left on the clock at Sparrows Lane.
New addition Paris Lock rounded off the scoring in the closing stages, rounding off an impressive performance on the opening day of the season.
