The Addicks' upcoming fixture against Coventry City (KO 3pm GMT) will be the highest-attended New Year’s Day match at The Valley since 2008.
Attendances at The Valley this season are at a 16-year high, and Nathan Jones’ side will be aiming to carry their strong home form from 2025 into the new year.
Jones highlighted the importance of the club’s supporters, saying: "They're really important - we need them.
"We’ve spoken about the injuries we’ve had at a time when we’ve faced some of the best teams in the league, but now we’re starting to get players back. Each week we should get stronger, and we’re going to need the fans.
"We have to make sure we batten down the hatches, stick together and come through this period. With players returning, we’re going to be a different animal week in, week out."
