The Addicks kick off 2026 at The Valley on Thursday when they host league leaders Coventry City (KO 3pm GMT)
Charlton are looking to get back on the winning trail after a disappointing, late defeat at Portsmouth last time out.
TEAM NEWS
Josh Edwards (ankle), Onel Hernández and Matty Godden (knee) continue to make progress in their recoveries, while Nathan Jones provided an update on Kayne Ramsay in his post-match interview at Fratton Park. He said: "Kayne picked up a hamstring issue and it looks like it will be a couple of weeks.”
The away side will be without Oliver Dovin (knee), Jay Dasilva (suspended), Brandon Thomas-Asante (hamstring), but Bobby Thomas could return to the squad following illness.
THE OPPOSITION
The Sky Blues currently sit top of the Sky Bet Championship table, eight points ahead of second-placed Middlesbrough.
Frank Lampard’s men lost 2-0 at home to Ipswich Town in their last league outing.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two sides have gone toe-to-toe on 40 occasions, with the Addicks winning 11, the Sky Blues winning 16 and the remaining 13 encounters ending in draws.
