Drinking in view of the pitch back for Leicester City play-off

Fans drinking in the stands

Charlton Women's play-off clash with Leicester City at The Valley on Saturday, May 23rd (KO 12.30pm) will be another where supporters can drink alcohol in view of the pitch.

The Play-Off, presented by Mercedes-Benz, decides who gets the final spot in the WSL for the 2026/27 season.

Fans will be able to watch the historic game from their seats with an alcoholic drink in hand, as the trial permits fans of WSL and WSL2 clubs to enjoy alcohol responsibly in the stands during the game.

Drinks will be allowed around the stadium as usual, but only drinks in non-glass cups will be allowed into the stands.

There will be a designated alcohol-free section (Block A) where alcoholic drinks will not be permitted. The sections are marked on the website when purchasing tickets.

If fans have already purchased a ticket for the game and want to move their seats into the alcohol-free section should contact the ticket office directly at tickets@cafc.co.uk.

Feedback will continue to be gathered from this game, with the club partnering with the Charlton Athletic Supporters' Trust to approve the pilot.

You can get your tickets for this huge game now and be part of this historic game.
