Bumstead came through Chelsea's academy after joining the club as a schoolboy in 1976. After making 409 appearances for the Blues, the midfielder joined the Addicks in 1991 and spent two seasons with the club before before retiring through injury aged 35.
Hasselbaink joined Chelsea from Atlético Madrid in May 2000 for a then club-record fee and spent four years in west London, playing 177 times and netting 87 goals in the process. The forward then had a two-year spell at Middlesbrough, before joining Charlton in the summer of 2006.
