Annual PSA testing matchday
This weekend's fixture against Preston North End is the club's annual PSA testing day. The PSA test is a blood test that can help diagnose prostate problems, including prostate cancer - the most common cancer in men in the UK.
Men over 50, men with a family history of prostate cancer and black men are more at risk of prostate cancer.
The club’s annual PSA testing matchday was introduced at The Valley in 2018 by the club’s former Head of Player Care Tracey Leaburn, and more than 160 supporters have received flagged results following testing in SE7, which they are advised to follow up on.
