The Addicks return to action on Saturday when Preston North End visit The Valley (KO 3pm BST).

Nathan Jones' men go into this weekend's contest on the back of a 1-1 draw against Watford on Easter Monday, with Matty Godden on the scoresheet at Vicarage Road.

TEAM NEWS

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jones revealed that Miles Leaburn (ankle) and Collins Sichenje (hamstring) are both back on the grass.

Thomas Kaminski (shoulder), Reece Burke (thigh), Conor Coady (concussion) and Josh Edwards (ankle) are all expected to miss out.

Jordan Thompson is available again for the visitors after serving a three-match suspension, while Odel Offiah (hamstring) will be assessed having been withdrawn at half-time last time out. Jamal Lewis (ankle), Robbie Brady (hamstring), Ali McCann (ankle) and Callum Lang (hamstring) are all sidelined.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Preston have gone toe-to-toe on 76 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 24, the Lilywhites 38 and the remaining 14 games resulting in draws.

The two sides last met at Deepdale in October 2025, when Preston were 2-0 victors thanks to goals from Thierry Small and Daniel Jebbison.

MATCH OFFICIALS

John Busby will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon.

Busby will be assisted by Conor Brown and Daniel Leach, while Oliver Mackey has been appointed as the Fourth Official.

Supporters are advised to check their routes to The Valley in advance.

Fans are advised that the below roads around the ground will be closed from 2pm until just after kick-off:

  • Floyd Road
  • Harvey Gardens
  • Valley Grove

The Fan Zone, Bartram's and the Fans' Bar will all be open for supporters to enjoy from 12pm and will remain open for an hour post-game.

The Valley Superstore opens at 10am and will be open for an hour after the full-time whistle.
