Thomas Kaminski is pleased with the Addicks' recent defensive record and is determined to see this momentum continue.
The goalkeeper earned his 10th clean sheet of the campaign during Friday's draw against Queens Park Rangers and pulled off a heroic save in stoppage time to deny Rayan Kolli.
"I was very pleased that I could rescue a point for the team," Kaminski said. "I didn't have much to do in the game, but I was saying to myself that there's going to be a moment where I need to be ready, and that's what I did.
"Over time and with age, you learn to adapt to a situation like that and I was saying that there's going to be a moment when the team needs me and I can't let them down.
"I've been working hard with the goalkeeping group and I want to continue that now," he added. "Clean sheets give the team the platform to win the game, or draw the game at least, and that's what the gaffer wants as well from us. It’s a target for us to keep as many as clean sheets we can and that's a group thing that we need to keep working towards."
Asked what he expects from Stoke City at The Valley on Wednesday night, Kaminski said: "It's going to be a tough game. I think they have had a little bit of bad form recently, but it doesn’t mean anything in the Championship.
"The momentum is very important and we've had two good games now, so we have to keep that momentum going. At home we're very confident and we want to make a difference in front of the fans."
