The Addicks are back in action on Wednesday night when they host Stoke City in the Sky Bet Championship (KO 7.45pm GMT).

Charlton go into the contest on the back of a well-earned point against Queens Park Rangers at The Valley last time out.

TEAM NEWS

Josh Edwards (ankle) and Harvey Knibbs (ankle) remain long-term absentees for the Addicks, while a late call will be made on Miles Leaburn (shoulder), Nathan Jones said.

The visitors will be without Gavin Bazunu (thigh), Viktor Johansson (shoulder), Junior Tchamadeu (knee), Lewis Baker (ankle), Ato Ampah (toe), Róbert Boženík (shoulder), Sam Gallagher (hamstring) and Divin Mubama (ankle).

THE OPPOSITION

The Potters currently sit 13th in the Sky Bet Championship standings, four points outside of the play-off places.

Mark Robins' men travel to SE7 on the back of a goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Charlton and Stoke have locked horns on 65 previous occasions, with the Addicks winning 25, the Potters winning 28 and the remaining 12 encounters resulting in draws. 

The Potters were 3-0 victors at the bet365 stadium in the reverse fixture in November 2025.

MATCH OFFICIALS 

Anthony Backhouse will be the man in the middle on Wednesday night.

Backhouse will be assisted by David Harrison and Mark Russell, while Ruebyn Ricardo has been named as the Fourth Official.

The Fan Zone, Fans' Bar and Bartram's will all be open for supporters to enjoy from 5pm. The Fans' Bar and Bartram's will remain open post-match, while the Fan Zone will be closed after the game.
