Charlton Athletic are delighted to confirm the signing of forward Katie Lockwood from Glasgow City.
The 27-year-old joins the Addicks from Scottish Women's Premier League side Glasgow City, and has penned a deal with the Addicks until 2027.
The forward began her development in the United States before enjoying spells in Sweden and Scotland.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Lockwood said: “I am buzzing to be here, it’s a new challenge for me and I am really excited.”
"I have a lot of experience from the different countries that I have played in, so I am hoping that I can bring that here to Charlton and to the league this year."
Lockwood brings a wealth of experience to Karen Hills’ side, with Champions League appearances and extensive European experience.
“This year I have played a lot of knock-out football, and that experience is valuable. Hopefully, I can bring that to this side of the season in the important matches ahead," Lockwood added.
"I have only been in the door a few days but it is clear to see what Karen [Hills] has built this year with her staff and her squad, there is a real buzz around the place and I am really excited to be a part of it."
