A number of Addicks were in action for their respective loan clubs during the latest round of fixtures.

Terry Taylor played another full 90 for Northampton Town, as the Cobblers fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Luton Town.

Elsewhere in Sky Bet League One, Alex Mitchell played 45 minutes of Plymouth Argyle's 2-0 defeat at Exeter City, Nathan Asiimwe played 60 minutes of AFC Wimbledon’s 1-0 loss at home to Burton Albion and Gassan Ahadme came on as a second-half substitute in Stevenage's 1-1 draw with Bradford City.

Academy graduate Daniel Kanu started for Walsall away at Cheltenham Town and played 86 minutes as the Saddlers suffered a 1-0 defeat in injury time. 

Fellow academy graduate Micah Mbick started for Colchester United, who shared a goalless draw with Swindon Town at The County Ground.

U21s goalkeeper Tommy Reid made his debut for Sutton United, who suffered a 4-2 defeat against Wealdstone in the National League.

U21s defender Toby Bower played the entirety of Farnborough’s 1-0 win over Maidenhead United, with fellow U21s full-back Ollie Hobden not featuring.

Zach Mitchell was an unused substitute for Hibernian, who played out a goalless draw with Celtic at Celtic Park.

Kaheim Dixon did not feature in the matchday squad for Crawley Town.
