LOAN WATCH | Mitchell on target for Argyle

A number of Addicks were in action for their respective loan clubs in England and Ireland across the weekend.

Alex Mitchell and Nathan Asiimwe went head-to-head at the Cherry Red Records Stadium as Plymouth Argyle claimed a 3-1 win over AFC Wimbledon. Mitchell opened the scoring for Argyle on six minutes and went on to play the full 90 to help Tom Cleverley's side climb closer to the play-off places. Asiimwe started for the Dons and played 71 minutes before being substituted.

Elsewhere in Sky Bet League One, Karoy Anderson played the entirety of Blackpool's 1-0 win at Wycombe Wanderers, while Tanto Olaofe featured for 14 minutes as Stockport County shared a 3-3 draw with Exeter City at St James Park.

Terry Taylor and Rob Apter were unused substitutes for Northampton Town and Bolton Wanderers respectively. 

In Sky Bet League Two, Daniel Kanu, who was crowned Sky Bet League Two Young Player of the Season at Sunday's EFL Awards, played 81 minutes for Walsall as the Saddlers secured a 3-1 victory over Barrow at Holker Street.

In the Enterprise National League South, Kai Enslin and Josh Laqeretabua went head-to-head as Dorking Wanderers took on Bath City. Both players completed full 90s as the Romans claimed an impressive 2-1 victory.

Toby Bower played 67 minutes for Farnborough, who were condemned to a 6-1 loss at home to Tonbridge Angels.

Ollie Hobden played the entirety of Chatham Town's 6-0 triumph over Potters Bar Town, helping his side secure a play-off place.

In the League of Ireland Premier Division, Henry Rylah made a substitute appearance for Derry City, playing 15 minutes as they earned a 2-1 win over Shelbourne.

Mason Hunter completed 90 minutes for Ramsgate as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Hashtag United in the Isthmian League Premier Division.

Gassan Ahadme (Stevenage), Micah Mbick (Colchester United) and Patrick Casey (Dorking Wanderers) missed their loan club’s respective fixtures through injury.

Goalkeepers Lennon MacLorg (Whitehawk) and Tommy Reid (Farnborough) were also not in their loan club's matchday squads over the weekend.
