LOAN WATCH | Hobden on target for Chatham Town

A number of Addicks were in action for their respective loan clubs over the weekend.

U21s defender Ollie Hobden netted for Chatham Town and helped his team keep a clean sheet in an emphatic 4-0 win over Wingate & Finchley at the Bauvill Stadium. 

In Sky Bet League One, Karoy Anderson helped Blackpool earn a vital three points, playing 90 minutes in their 3-1 win over Peterborough United at Bloomfield Road and being named man of the match.

Elsewhere in the third tier, Alex Mitchell started Plymouth Argyle's 2-2 draw against Exeter City in the Devon derby and Nathan Asiimwe played 65 minutes of AFC Wimbledon's 1-0 defeat against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

Terry Taylor completed 78 minutes for Northampton Town, who suffered a 3-1 loss at home to Wigan Athletic, and Rob Apter was a second-half substitute in Bolton Wanderers' 2-0 reverse against second-placed Cardiff City. 

Tanto Olaofe was a 65th-minute substitute at Wembley as Stockport County lost 3-1 to Luton Town in the Vertu Trophy final.

In Sky Bet League Two, Daniel Kanu played the entirety of Walsall’s 4-0 defeat to Cheltenham Town at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

In the Enterprise National League South, Toby Bower completed 90 minutes for Farnborough in their 3-1 win over Dover Athletic, Josh Laqeretabua started Bath City's 4-2 win over Chesham United and Kai Enslin was a late substitute in Dorking Wanderers' 2-1 defeat at AFC Totton.

Elsewhere, Mason Hunter completed 90 minutes for Ramsgate, who suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Billericay Town, and Henry Rylah was an unused substitute in Derry City’s 2-2 draw away at Dundalk.

Gassan Ahadme (Stevenage), Micah Mbick (Colchester United) and Patrick Casey (Dorking Wanderers) missed their loan club’s respective fixtures through injury.

Goalkeepers Lennon MacLorg (Whitehawk) and Tommy Reid (Farnborough) were also not in their loan club's matchday squads over the weekend.
