Daniel Kanu collected four of Walsall's end-of-season awards following a remarkable campaign on loan with the Saddlers.
The 21-year-old academy graduate, who has scored 18 goals for the Saddlers across all competitions, received Walsall's Top Goalscorer Award, Supporters' Young Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season and Player of the Season!
Kanu played the entirety of Walsall’s 2-0 loss to Harrogate Town at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium, before collecting his four awards at the Saddlers’ end-of-season ceremony.
In Sky Bet League One, Alex Mitchell played the full 90 minutes for 10-man Plymouth Argyle as they battled to a 2-1 victory over Port Vale at Home Park to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Elsewhere in the third tier, Karoy Anderson played the entirety of Blackpool’s 1-0 win over Leyton Orient at Bloomfield Road, while Nathan Asiimwe was a late substitute as AFC Wimbledon secured their Sky Bet League One status with a vital 1-0 victory at Wigan Athletic.
Tanto Olaofe was a 77th-minute substitute for Stockport County who ran out 3-1 victors over Peterborough United at Edgeley Park, Terry Taylor played the final 10 minutes of Northampton Town's 5-1 defeat away to second-placed Cardiff City and Rob Apter was an unused substitute in Bolton Wanderers’ 1-1 draw at Bradford City.
In the League of Ireland Premier Division, Henry Rylah made a substitute appearance for Derry City, playing seven minutes as they earned a 1-0 win over Shamrock Rovers.
In the Enterprise National League South, Toby Bower completed 90 minutes for Farnborough in their 6-1 win over AFC Totton, a victory that secured their survival.
Josh Laqeretabua started Bath City’s 3-2 home defeat to Maidstone United and was withdrawn on 63 minutes, as the Romans were unable to avoid relegation.
Kai Enslin totalled up 69 minutes for Dorking Wanderers as they shared the spoils with Maidenhead United in a 1-1 draw, which sees Dorking enter the play-off stages of the Enterprise National League South.
Mason Hunter started Ramsgate’s 4-2 win away at Canvey Island, before being substituted midway through the second half.
Gassan Ahadme (Stevenage), Micah Mbick (Colchester United) and Patrick Casey (Dorking Wanderers) missed their loan club’s respective fixtures through injury.
U21s players Lennon MacLorg (Whitehawk), Tommy Reid (Farnborough) and Ollie Hobden (Chatham Town) were also not in their loan club's matchday squads over the weekend.
