A number of Addicks were in action for their loan teams across the country over the weekend.
Academy graduates Daniel Kanu and Micah Mbick both made it two goals in two as they continued their rich vein of form for Walsall and Colchester United respectively.
Kanu struck his seventh goal of the campaign for Sky Bet League Two leaders Walsall, who claimed a 3-1 victory over Bromley at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
Mbick scored for the U's in their 2-0 win over Cheltenham Town at the JobServe Community Stadium, making room for himself on the edge of the 18-yard box before firing into the top corner.
Elsewhere in the fourth tier, Kaheim Dixon featured for Crawley Town, playing 26 minutes in a 4-3 loss away to Salford City.
In Sky Bet League One, Terry Taylor and Alex Mitchell went head-to-head as Northampton Town visited Plymouth Argyle. Taylor registered an assist as the Cobblers ran out 3-0 victors at Home Park, with Mitchell playing the full 90 for Argyle.
Gassan Ahadme played 69 minutes of Stevenage's goalless draw away at Wigan Athletic, while Nathan Asiimwe completed 88 minutes for AFC Wimbledon in a 3-3 draw away to Huddersfield Town.
Academy graduate Zach Mitchell was an unused substitute for Hibernian's 2-1 defeat at home to Celtic.
In the National League South, U21s defenders Toby Bower and Ollie Hobden both played the first half of Farnborough's 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium.
