A number of Addicks were in action for their respective loan clubs over the Easter weekend.
Tanto Olaofe was on target for Stockport County on Good Friday in their 3-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers at Edgeley Park. The forward did not feature in the Hatters’ Easter Monday clash with Bolton Wanderers.
Elsewhere in Sky Bet League One, Alex Mitchell completed 90 minutes for Plymouth Argyle as they were condemned to a 2-1 loss at home to Bolton. The defender then played the entirety of Argyle’s 3-0 win away at Barnsley on Monday.
Rob Apter was an unused substitute for Bolton in that clash with Argyle at Home Park, before featuring for 67 minutes for Bolton in the 2-2 home draw against Stockport.
Meanwhile, Terry Taylor featured prominently for Northampton Town, playing 89 minutes in their 1–0 defeat away to Bradford City at Valley Parade. He then got 78 minutes under his belt for the Cobblers in a 3–1 home defeat to Wigan Athletic.
Nathan Asiimwe emerged from the bench as an 89th minute substitute for AFC Wimbledon as they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Championship-bound Lincoln City at the LNER Stadium. He then played another 67 minutes for the Dons in their next fixture as they lost 3-0 at home to Jack Wilshere’s Luton.
Elsewhere in the third tier, Karoy Anderson returned from international duty with Jamaica and made a 16-minute cameo for Blackpool in their crucial 1-0 home victory over Exeter City. The midfielder was then named on the bench as the Tangerines travelled to Stevenage on Easter Monday and came on to play 22 minutes in their narrow 1-0 defeat at the Lamex Stadium.
In Sky Bet League Two, Daniel Kanu made an instant impact, coming off the bench for Walsall and equalising just two minutes later in a 2-2 draw with Gillingham at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium. He went on to play the entirety of the Saddlers’ 2-1 loss away at Swindon Town.
In the Enterprise National League South, Toby Bower played all 90 minutes of Farnborough’s 3-1 loss away at Hampton and Richmond. The defender played another 90 minutes on Easter Monday. Bower helped Farnborough to a clean sheet and three points in a 2-0 win at home over Horsham.
Further down the pyramid, Ollie Hobden played 86 minutes for Chatham Town as they suffered a narrow 1-0 home defeat at home to Aveley, before playing the full 90 minutes in their next match, a 3-2 away victory over Dartford.
Mason Hunter made two substitute appearances for Ramsgate, earning 16 minutes in their 1-0 home defeat to Cray Valley Paper Mills and 13 minutes in a 3-2 loss away at Folkestone Invicta.
Josh Laqeretabua started both of Bath City’s Easter weekend fixtures, helping them secure a crucial 1-0 home victory over local rivals Chippenham Town, before they fell 4-1 away to Torquay United.
Kai Enslin played 45 minutes as Dorking Wanderers suffered a 2-0 away defeat at Horsham, before coming off the bench to feature for 27 minutes in a 2-1 home loss to league-leaders Worthing.
Henry Rylah was an unused substitute in Derry City’s 2-1 away defeat to Galway United, but went on to play 22 minutes as they shared the spoils in a goalless draw with Sligo Rovers.
Gassan Ahadme (Stevenage), Micah Mbick (Colchester United) and Patrick Casey (Dorking Wanderers) missed their loan club’s respective fixtures through injury.
Meanwhile, goalkeepers Lennon MacLorg (Whitehawk) and Tommy Reid (Farnborough) were also not in the matchday squads for their games over the weekend.
