Charlton Women head to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City in WSL2 action on Sunday, March 22nd (KO 2pm).
Karen Hills side will be looking to keep up the momentum gained from last week's win at The Valley and take another three points, though it will be a tough game against a City side who sit fifth in the table with a chance of making it into the play-off or automatic promotion spots.
Charlton Athletic
The win against Sunderland at The Valley steadied the ship after the team lost their unbeaten run. Hills said post-game that she wanted to see a reaction from her team after that loss and, with the 1-0 win, she said they "didn’t disappoint".
Amalie Thestrup's acrobatic goal was the only one of the game and was her first since a hat-trick against Swindon in the FA Cup.
There is a full-strength squad to choose from as the team heads to Ashton Gate with no new injury news. Carla Humphries continues her work to match fitness after returning from having a baby.
Bristol City
Bristol City sit fifth in the table on 27 points. They have not had the best run recently, only winning one of their last five in all competitions, but they did stop their three-game losing streak last time out against Portsmouth, coming back from two goals down to draw 2-2.
The Robins will be without striker Rio Hardy, who was sent off late against Portsmouth for two yellow cards.
Head-to-Head
The Addicks last played Bristol City in November at The Valley, where we won 2-0. Both goals came in the second half, the first being a Katie Bradley penalty, before a Gracie Pearse confidently put away Charlotte Newsham's knockdown to seal the points.
In our last three games away to City, the tally's are all even with one win, one draw, and one loss, the most recent game being a 1-1 draw last season.
