The Addicks return to The Valley on Saturday afternoon to host Blackburn Rovers in what will be the first home 3pm kick-off of the 2025/26 campaign.

TEAM NEWS
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Nathan Jones said: "Luke [Berry] is back in full training. Matty [Godden] is still a slow process at the minute and Will Mannion is back on the grass. We're in a significantly better position than we were a week ago. Kayne [Ramsay] returns as well [following his suspension]."
Rovers will be without Hayden Carter, Moussa Baradji and Jake Garrett this weekend.
THE OPPOSITION
Rovers’ previous outing against Ipswich Town was called off in the 80th minute owing to an unplayable surface at Ewood Park following a sustained period of heavy rainfall. The hosts were leading 1-0 at the time of the abandonment courtesy of Todd Cantwell's 59th-minute penalty.
Valérien Ismaël's side, who claimed a 1-0 win at Watford prior to the abandoned fixture, currently sit 18th in the Sky Bet Championship standings, albeit with a game in hand.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two sides have gone toe-to-toe on 81 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 27, Rovers 37 and the remaining 17 fixtures resulting in draws.
Blackburn ran out 2-0 victors when the teams last met in February 2020 thanks to first-half goals from John Buckley and Tosin Adarabioyo at The Valley.
MATCH OFFICIALS
Anthony Backhouse will oversee proceedings this weekend.
Backhouse will be assisted by Callum Gough and Andrew Dallison, while Jacob Miles will fill the Fourth Official role.
